Dogs from all different sizes, ages and breeds go and play with one another but they are not only entertained for the day it is almost like school for them too.

 

There are many benefits for taking your dog to a daycare such as allowing them to socialise which stops them from having anxiety as a lot of dogs can suffer from this when being left on their own, especially for long periods of time. The dogs get basic training for commands including lie down and sit but they also get taught “recall” which is extremely important for when they are off the lead and also because if dogs were to start fighting, they would stop when they hear the call. Doggy daycare builds confidence in dogs for when they are around other people and other dogs in addition to forming relationships and lasting friendships. 

 

The daycare opens at 8am when dogs start arriving or dogs can be picked up by some of the girls that work there. There is not a set agenda for each day at Mucky Pups; the dogs are mainly free to run around and do whatever they want, and to just be a dog! 

The daycare has a room full of couches for the dogs to chill out on, tyres that the little dogs love to stand on to make them feel bigger, a climbing frame and a tyre swing. The yard has tyres for the dogs to run through and paddling pools for the dogs to play in and cool down in when it’s hot.

 

Not only do your fur babies have fun they create a bond between each dog and see them as their pack. Mucky pups along with other doggy daycares are an excellent way for your dogs to burn off energy and have fun instead of being cooped up in the house all day staring at four walls, no human would like to be sat inside doing nothing all day so why would they like it!
